Filing deadlines are extended for any unscheduled outage lasting 15 minutes or more, or any scheduled outage of 30 minutes or more.

SAW error blocking access to ORCA, campaign registration and F-1 systems - -

A problem with Secure Access Washington's authentication service is causing outages for users of ORCA, campaign registration and the F-1 financial affairs filing systems. The problem has been reported to SAW. The PDC does not yet have an estimate for restoration of service.

PDC outage of campaign filing systems - -

Original post: Beginning at about 2 p.m. the Public Disclosure Commission was experiencing an outage that may affect filers' ability to use ORCA and other systems.

Intermittent outages for F-1, campaign registration and ORCA - -

Due to an issue with third-party cloud services, some users of the Financial Affairs (F-1) system, campaign registration and Online Reporting of Campaign Activity (ORCA) may have experienced connectivity issues or outages between 10 p.m. June 7 and 4 a.m. June 8. The issue has been resolved and all systems are operating as expected. 

ORCA update bug - -

A bug in the version of ORCA released July 21 may have caused a data error that prevented campaigns from filing accurate reports. The ORCA system can identify affected campaigns and will give them the option of fixing the data loss the next time they open ORCA. Those campaigns may need to amend any reports filed between July 21 and July 29. The PDC will be doing additional outreach to affected campaigns.  

Server issues for F-1 system and campaign reporting - -

Users of the Financial Affairs Disclosure system, campaign registration and ORCA may experience difficulty connecting to PDC servers. Technicians are working to resolve the problem. We do not currently have an estimate for when service will be restored, but will post an update soon.

Planned outage for registration, financial affairs and campaign report submission - -

The maintenance operation has encountered an error. The outage is now expected to last until 7:30 AM.

Due to planned maintenance, PDC systems for candidate and committee registrations, reporting of personal financial affairs, and submission of C-3s and C-4s will be unavailable from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28.

PDC phone lines not staffed March 4 - -

Due to mandatory training, Public Disclosure Commission staff members will be unavailable for most of Thursday, March 4. Please send an email to pdc@pdc.wa.gov, and we will reply on Friday, March 5.

PDC phones down - -

PDC phone lines, which run on Microsoft Teams, are not operating due to the worldwide Teams outage. Some callers are able to get through to voicemail. If you have left a message there, we will call you back on Tuesday morning after service has been restored. The quickest way to reach us is to send email to pdc@pdc.wa.gov.

Outage for campaign registration, F-1 and C-3/C-4 filing - -

PDC staff have taken the filing systems for candidate and committee registrations, financial affairs reports, and campaign finance reports offline to conduct troubleshooting. 

We will update this message when the system is back online or we have an estimate of when it will return to service.
