Filing deadlines are extended for any unscheduled outage lasting 15 minutes or more, or any scheduled outage of 30 minutes or more.

System outage - -

An outage affecting the L-5, C-6 and LMC filing systems was resolved at 10:57 a.m. April 28, 2023.

Outage affected L-5 & C-6 reports - -

Service was restored at 1:30 p.m.  The outage that began at 11:30  a.m. affected filing for the L-5 Public Agency Lobbying reports and C-6 Independent Spending and Electioneering Communications reports.

Website may be offline for maintenance - -

PDC website may be offline for website maintenance between approximately 6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m. 

System outage 7:18 am-9:20 am - -

Service was restored at 9:20 a.m. The outage that began at 7:18 a.m. was caused by a failure in a service provided by a third party. The root cause is still being investigated by the vendor. The outage temporarily affected filing for campaign finance, ORCA, financial affairs and C-6 Independent Spending & Electioneering Communications.

 

SAW (Secure Access Washington) maintenance - -

Secure Access Washington (SAW) is applying standard updates and patches on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022. SAW and services that use SAW (including PDC applications) will be inaccessible for about 40 minutes during the maintenance window, which is between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on that day.

Primary contributions - -

Candidates using ORCA to file campaign finance reports are currently unable to attribute contributions toward the primary election. The PDC is aware of this issue and expects to have a fix in place by early Monday.

Outage: Filing reports - -

Users attempting to file reports today may have experienced difficulty logging in between 11:30am – 12:00pm.  Reporting for lobbying was not impacted.

Filing system outage - -

The PDC experienced an outage this morning to all electronic filing systems, except lobbyist reporting, public agency lobbying reporting and last minute contributions. The outage was caused by a configuration change made by the Washington central IT services agency.

Planned outage: most filing activity and some website functions - -

The PDC’s IT team will be performing a database upgrade on Wednesday July 6, 2022 that will affect most filing activity and some website functionality. The planned outage is scheduled to begin at 5:30 a.m. and last for no more than two hours.

The outage will affect access to ORCA, Financial Affairs, Campaign Finance and C6 reporting.

Campaign finance and lobbyist reporting systems down - -

Due to a vendor outage, access to the PDC's Online Reporting of Campaign Activity, campaign registration and lobbying reporting systems was interrupted early this morning. The vendor reports it restored connection at 5:47 a.m. and is continuing to monitor for issues.
