PDC to host engagement session on grassroots lobbying rulemaking, prohibition on use of public facilities in campaigns

Public Disclosure Commission Chair Nancy Isserlis will host a public engagement session, where members of the public will be invited to give feedback on two issues:  

• Upcoming rulemaking on grassroots lobbying disclosure requirements to incorporate changes to state law, and  

• guidance provided to local governments and school districts to promote compliance with the law that prohibits the use of public office or agency facilities in campaigns. 

The session is virtual, and scheduled for 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 17. 

The session offers participants an opportunity to discuss these requirements with the commissioners and other interested parties. The conversation will help inform internal policy discussions and assist the agency in providing technical assistance on possible future external proposals.
